ERIN
HOPKINS
Filmmaker
Hello! I'm Erin, a London-based director, editor and camera operator. I produce short-form video content for arts organisations, businesses, healthcare companies, charities and the public sector. I also have several years' experience in broadcast and feature film post-production.
01

I create promotional videos for businesses and charities to market their services, fundraise and raise awareness for causes.
With a selection of portable backdrops, green screen and lighting, I can bring a studio-quality interview setup to your workplace. I provide a full post-production service which includes animated text, colour grading and basic video effects, and I have a library of licenced music to use at no extra cost to you.
I work with a great network of other video professionals so if your video requires multi-camera setups, aerial photography or animation, this can be included in your package.
I've worked with great charity clients such as youth charity Mayor's Fund for London, London Wildlife Trust and Clean Break, and I've created bespoke promotional videos for business clients including Icon Books, Skeeters Axe Throwing and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
02
THEATRE & ARTS
I create atmospheric and mood-driven theatre trailers as well as high quality promotional video content for theatre and arts events, documenting live performances and filming behind the scenes videos and interviews.
I've also collaborated with performers to produce videos as part of their own artistic practice.
Previous clients include Dark Mofo Festival, Battersea Arts Center, Alarum Theatre, Kandisnky Theatre and Shoreditch Town Hall.

I provide video, audio and post-production services to musicians and bands spanning a variety of genres, and collaborate with artists to create music videos which reflect the soul of their work.
I also have experience shooting live performances and recording sessions.
Music videos for Jade Hairpins and Fucked Up (Merge Records).

DOCUMENTARY
My skills as a filmmaker and editor are well suited to the fast-paced, fast decision making requirements of documentary filmmaking. I have extensive experience of setting up and conducting interviews as well as sourcing and editing archive materials.
Documentary has always been a key interest of mine, and my past films have explored the relationships between labour, livelihood, and lifestyle, blending oral histories with archival materials in order to reflect on local and community experience, and the collective process of telling stories.

I have produced educational and informative videos for the healthcare industry as well as promotional and recruitment films.
Depending on shoot requirements I can often bring a reduced kit to film shoots taking place in clinical environments, taking up as little space as possible and causing minimal disruption while delivering a high quality video.
I've been producing an ongoing series of educational films for medical professionals on wound and lymphoedema care for the last few years.

NARRATIVE & EXPERIMENTAL
My personal film projects reflect my own interests in folklore, history, performance art and themes of identity and queerness. If you are a performer interested in collaborating on a non-professional project, please get in touch!
